Alizé
our comments
Alizé occupies Palms’ top floor with a spectacular view of the Strip and surrounding mountains. Floor-to-ceiling picture windows surround the dining room where the impeccable staff serves the exquisite cuisine, beginning with an amuse bouche. Alizé’s succulent entrées include a 10-ounce sautéed filet of beef with green peppercorn and Cognac cream sauce, and a roasted Cervena venison loin with huckleberry sauce. The fresh, flown-in-daily fish, such as roasted Atlantic salmon filet with Sauvignon Blanc butter sauce, mushrooms, green asparagus and braised romaine, are listed on a nightly menuThe chocolate and Grand Marnier soufflés, and temptations such as a baked apple tart with vanilla ice cream from the handsome pastry cart, are worth the splurge.- March 2005
