Expatriate New Yorkers flock to the Palms in every city, so here’s their home away from home in Las Vegas. Stroll down this indoor mall designed to look like the Appian Way under painted plaster skies into this Manhattan steakhouse for a relaxing change of pace---and the great steaks that are just as perfect as those found at all Palm locales. The lobsters are as large, too, as are the prices you’ll pay for them. For lunch, however, the very moderately priced prix-fixe special includes soup or salad, the choice of a dozen savory entrées served with the signature crispy potatoes and hash browns, and coffee or tea.- March 2005
